The Pink Elephant Challenge # 45

This weeks theme is Christmas and or Winter!

I have chosen cute Charlotte again for my Christmas theme. I made this card for my crazy sister again, she really enjoys my off beat crafts and loves cute little emo images like Charlotte from Kraftin Kimmie's Stamps. I know she will really enjoy it along with her gift...it is also black and white!

The designer papers are both Making Memories, but one is from the Christmas line Mistletoe and the other from the Halloween line Spooky Alley. Is that not too Tim Burton or what...the paper holidays crashed into each other and created my card! The ribbon is from JoAnn Fabric. The sentiment is from Print Works Rubber stamps, the snowflakes from Hidie Swapp ghosts shapes covered in black glitter, and the rhinestones Zavorski crystals! Hope you all enjoy it as much I did making it!

Look what I did!

My son just turned 16...16! Wow that was fast! We had his birthday celebration tonight and look at what I did for his cake! I bought these edible strips, baked a cake, frosted the cake and trimmed it with black, and then covered it with the edible strips. Not bad for first timer with edible strips eh? I think next time I should put the strips on first, then trim with black! Oh well, it was fun and the boys thought it looked awesome!

Kraftin' Kimmies Stamps #9 Gift Card Holders & Pile It on #27 Tinsel Town

This week Pile it on is challenging us to use glitter on our cards! I combined that with Kraftin' Kimmies #9 Gift Card Holder challenge! I love this image of Charlotte from Kraftin' Kimmies stamps...she is just so cute and full of possible mischief! I made the card for my daughter whom I think is cute and different as Charlotte!

Paper is from DCWV stack and Making Memories Mistletoe. The green with red polka dots fabric is from JoAnn Fabrics. The sentiment was mounted on Inksentials glass squares, and the metal swirl and Christmas pins are also Making Memories! The clothes pin was from a bin at Michaels.

Cupcake Craft Challenge #69... Sing a Christmas Carol

This week Cupcake Craft Challenges is asking us to use our favorite Christmas Carol in our cards or Christmas projects. I choose this image (Step Sisters) from Mo's Digital Pencil because it reminded me of one of my favorites-Santa Claus is Comig to Town! Indeed he is! Don't those two look like they are naughty?

Ummmm...

Yep, I know I have Christmas songs on my playlist, and a witchy theme...but most of you know me and understand :)!

The very talented April of April Showers goes the credit for the new look on my blog!! Check her out, her link is on my sidebar!
