Fall/Halloween All things Altered Hop!

Happy Fall!  It's that awesome time again!  Cold air, turning of the leaves and most important...HALLOWEEN!!  Whoop!!

Welcome to the third All things Altered Hop!  This time it's all about Fall/Halloween!

Today I have altered my canvas!  I decided to crate something special for that very special day my husband proposed to me!

Back in 2004, my husband took me to Magic Mountain on October 30th, our first date was June of 2002 at Magic Mountain...so I guess he thought why not combine the place we had our first date and my favorite Holiday!  He waited until midnight for it to turn October 31st and asked a GHOUL to help him set the mood!  I had no clue what he was done, so when he got on his knee all I could think of to say was... "Get up you idot, what are you doing down there?!"  LOL!

Sadly, we married June 25th, 2005..I don't know why the heck we didn't just wait till October 31st to get married, being that we both LOVE Halloween!

I hope you enjoyed my little Altered project, please head on over to all the blogs and check out the awesomeness!  There are prizes along the way on some of the blogs as well!  You won't want to miss all the hoppin' fun!

Here's the list:

Anything But a Card...

Hello, hello, hello!  Welcome to the very first EVER Anything But a Card Challenge! WHhoop whooop!  While perusing facebook one day I saw a post from Jessica Griffin about a new venture she was starting... it was about making fun and NON CARD projects with our digis!  What a cool idea...sometimes, ok lately, I am quite tired of making card, after card, after card!  SO! I quickly responded to her about being part of the DT!  I SOOO wanted in!

Here I am part of the new awesome blog Anything But A Card!

We have one super DT!  So many different variety of crafters! We are going to blow your socks off!  Whoop whoop!  Ok so here we go my first project for Anything But A Card...

Using my Jack and Jill image, I got the crazy idea of creating a snack tray!  I am constantly spilling or smudging my projects with water, drinks, and snackie items on my stuff!  So, I thought I could totally make a tray to place my snakie items and drink while I craft!  Maybe then I will eliminate a few spills and oopses!  Some, not all that would be impossible, especially with a toddler!

Here's a shot of the tray.  All papers are from Graphic 45 Happy Haunting.  The image as I mentioned is mine and can be found at Simply B Stamps.net here.

Close up of my colored image.

A close up of the image and the embellishments surrounding it.  The hand is from the Happy Haunting Cricut Cartridge.  The Bottle caps can be found at Simply B Stamps.net, and the swirls are Prima Marketing.  The large clock die is Tim Holtz.

This large Bottle cap will be coated with Diamond Glaze creating a seal and it is where I will be able to put my little snacks on like crackers or cheese and it won't hinder the paper.  I will be able to just wipe it clean too!  Whooohooo!  The spider is from a confetti pack I bought some Halloweens ago.

This one is just for fun, my daughter Rio wanted to help and so I let her... ummm I think she forgot that there was ink all over her hands and started scratching her face!  How old are we Rio?  LOL!!

I hope you liked my project for today!  Don't forget to check out the new challenge blog and participate in the first challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate to Simply B Stamps of $25!

Off you go to check out the rest of the DTs creations at  Anything But A Card!
