Crafting for fun...

Yep, I did it... I crafted for fun and just to have me time!  I miss my crafting for fun time, it seems I am always sketching, inking, promoting and going 100 MPH!  Although I do love my little business, I did start it for the love of crafting and it's finally time to get back to that aspect of it as well!

Today I three fun cards, don't know who they will be for and the gun part is that they don't have to be meant for anyone at the moment!  It was as I said, just fun!

Hello everyone!  Welcome to our new Steampunk Collectoin 5 release straight from the new Simply Steampunk Challenges blog!  WHoohooo!

You can head on over there and see all the wonderful projects from our DT members, guest DT members and special guests joining us in releasing these awesome new images!

There are a total of six of these wonderful new images and I am here to show you 5 of those...

First off I have three in one...

Let's start by telling you about my project, Abigail Larson recently moved to Edgar Allen Poe's city, Richmond Virgina, I can only imagine how awesome it is to walk around Mr.s Poe's old stomping grounds!  Can you imagine, being in an old but classic house, where Mr. Poe himself may have roamed... I mean not that she is in his house, but in the same city!  I mean the possibilities! So, I made her this house warming gift, a little tray for her Tea, snacks, whatever she fancies while working in her studio!  I can't wait for her to get it!  So,  I love Edgar Allen Poe and you will find a few of these are from his stories... For example, the first image on the top is of course from The Cask of Amontillado!  The second one toward the bottom right is from The Masque of the Red Death, but I had to make him black! HA!  Finally in the large bottle cap we have The Bride of Frankenstein!

here's a close up of the images

Next we have The Grave of Leanore... I made this card to go along with the tray.

My final project,  the image is  Edgar Allen Poe himself!  I made this book mark for my little bookworm Rio.  She was over the moon, and put it into her large Book of E.A. Poe of course!

The back of the book mark :)

Girl Jam GDT

Happy New Year everyone!

It's been a long, long, long time since I have posted here!  One of my resolutions is to get back to the crafting and not just for my company, but for the fun of it again and for my own personal scrapbooks, card making, and etc.

So, I was asked by Gloria to be a guest designer for 3 Girl Jam Challenges!  OH MY GOSH have you all tried their ribbon?  It's marvelous!!!  I loved it, silk, shinny, and just plain fun!

I made myself a little tea caddy, well I bought a caddy and altered it!

I love tea, tea pots, and of course you all know what a Halloween fanatic I am so I HAD to use one of my Bettys... Betty Green Sistah! Here's the top of the caddy...

The ribbon is awesome as I mentioned and I used Goblin Green and Witches Brew
 both are AWESOME colors!
Girl Jam has lots of fun stuff!  Check them out here: 3 Girl Jam

Finally here is the inside of my box...I may still add to each little box meant for tea, but not sure yet.

I hope you enjoyed my little Tea Caddy, I sure did enjoy working with that Crinkle Ribbon!!

Thank you all for stopping by I will have more fun projects to share this coming weekend!
